Construction
Construction materials are subject to particular stresses and strains in the winter. Concrete, for example, won’t harden at temperatures below five degrees Celsius.
The consequences: delays, costly construction stoppages and lost revenue. You can, however, prevent this from happening as it’s always the ideal temperature for construction when you use LPG. You can also speed up construction progress thanks to targeted construction drying. There is a variety of areas of application for LPG in cylinders in construction, for example:
- Warming up construction materials
- Drying out building shells
- Heating up construction cabins
- Providing hot water
Immediate availability is also possible on kilometre-long construction sites. As with many other possible uses of LPG, you can save a lot of money and reduce your CO2 emissions in comparison with using electricity. This is mostly of benefit when it comes to longer construction projects as construction cabins with a service life of two years or longer need to adhere to the strict guidelines of the German Energy Saving Ordinance. LPG complies with them.
