Online job applications
You have the option of applying for a job online on our website. To process your data, we use the cloud software provider HRworks GmbH (Konrad-Goldmann-Str. 5b, 79100 Freiburg, Germany), with whom we have concluded an order processing contract. The legal basis for this processing is Article°26(1)°(1) of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in conjunction with Article°88(1) of the GDPR.
Should an employment relationship between you and us be established, then we will be entitled to further process the personal data already obtained from you in accordance with Article°26(I) of the BDSG for the purposes of the employment relationship if this is required for the implementation or termination of the employment relationship.
Should an employment relationship not be established between you and us, then we may store your data for as long as is necessary to defend against any possible legal claims (e.g. duty to provide evidence in proceedings under the German Equal Treatment Act (Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz AGG). However, your application documents will be erased six months after the announcement of the decision on refusal unless a longer retention period is required to defend against any legal disputes.
In this case, the legal basis is the point°(f) of Article°6(1) of the GDPR and point°(2) of Article°24(1) of the BDSG. Our legitimate interest lies in legal defence or enforcement.
If you have expressly consented to the longer retention of your data, the data will be further processed on the basis of your consent in accordance with point°(a) of Article°6(1) of the GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time in accordance with Article°7(3) of the GDPR by declaring this to us with effect for the future.
AWS Cloudfront
The HRworks application portal we use makes use of services from Amazon Web Services, Inc., P.O. Box 81226, Seattle, WA 98108, USA (Amazon CloudFront - Content Delivery Network (CDN)). JavaScript code is downloaded from Amazon. If you have activated JavaScript in your browser, and have not installed a JavaScript blocker, your browser may transfer personal data to Amazon CloudFront - Content Delivery Network (CDN) We do not know what data Amazon CloudFront - Content Delivery Network (CDN) associates with the data received and for what purposes Amazon CloudFront - Content Delivery Network (CDN) uses that data.

To prevent the running of JavaScript code by Amazon CloudFront - Content Delivery Network (CDN) as a whole, you can install a JavaScript blocker (e.g. www.noscript.net or www.ghostery.com).
Xing Share Button
The "XING Share Button" is used on our website’s application portal. When you access this website, your browser establishes a short-term connection to the XING SE ("XING") servers which provide the "XING Share Button" functions (in particular the calculation/display of the counter value). XING does not store any personal data about you when you access this website. In particular, XING does not store any IP addresses. There is also no analysis of your user behaviour regarding the use of cookies in connection with the "XING Share Button".
